Thich Nhat Hanh is one of today's most widely known and respected Zen teachers, and is renowned for his work as a peace activist in Vietnam and worldwide, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He has led retreats worldwide and was one of the key founders of the "engaged Buddhism" movement. His teaching emphasize cultivating wisdom in daily life, and are accessible to everyone, regardless of religious background.
This event is organized in partnership with Plum Village and the association "Pour les Enfants du Vietnam". All proceeds from this event will be donated to this organization to help impoverished children in Vietnam.
