Visiting for a day of mindfulness
Every day and every hour, is a chance to practice mindfulness. That’s easier said than done! That’s why we suggest to those who come to retreats that each person should try to reserve one day out of the week to devote entirely to their practice of mindfulness. In principle, of course every day should be your day, and every hour should be your hour. But the fact is that very few of us have reached this level of freedom. We have the impression that our family, place of work, and society rob us of all our time. That is why we urge everyone to set aside one day each week dedicated to the practice of mindfulness.
Plum Village organizes Days of Mindfulness on Thursdays and Sundays. These days help you to practice mindfulness completely -- this is to take an entire day to come back to and to care for ourselves.
At Plum Village, Thursdays and Sundays are special days and all are invited to attend our days of mindfulness. There is no need to register. Donations to support the community and the day of mindfulness are welcome.

Mindfulness Day rotates between each of the three hamlets (Upper, Lower and New Hamlet)
